Day 4 : Following breakfast, depart for Tozeur via Bichr. Cross the Chott El Jerid, sea of chimeras offering the unsettling, yet enchanting sight of its mirages. |

Relax at Hotel Hasi Tozeur*** (or similar) and lunch. In the afternoon, sinking further in the desert, cross the Chott el Gharsa in 4-wheel-drive vehicles, toward Nefta, the holy city of the Jerid and the most beautiful oasis of all the region. Visit the palm grove, known as “the basket”, and its picturesque rose market. |
