Early departure for Kairouan, a landmark of early Islamic history and the first city founded by the Arabs in North Africa.

Visit two of the most prestigious religious monuments in the Maghreb: The Great Mosque (Oqba Ibn Nafaa Mosque), the first to be built by Muslim conquerors in North Africa (670 AD) and Sidi Sahbi’s mausoleum (Sidi Sahbi, the Prophet’s barber).

Free time. Then depart for El Jem, the ancient city of Thysdrus, once one of the wealthiest cities of African Rome.

Visit its famous amphitheater, the most imposing monument erected by the Romans in North Africa. Continue to Sfax, the capital of the South. Stroll the narrow streets of the Medina. Lunch.

Depart to Gabes, the largest Tunisian sea oasis.

Dinner and overnight at Hotel Chems*** (or similar) in Gabes; [at Hotel Haroun*** or similar in Jerba].
