Day 6 :
Kebili / Chott El Jerid / Tozeur (160 kms)
Following breakfast, depart for Tozeur and cross the Chott El Jerid, the remains of a dried ancient salt sea. Be on the lookout for a mirage, that strange optical effect.

Continue to Tozeur, the pearl of El Jerid, to visit the old Medina and its bustling souks. Visit a traditional brick factory, then depart for the Tozeur palm grove oasis, that counts nowadays more than 200 000 palm trees and 200 water springs. Visit the famous traditional art museum of Dar Chraiet. Overnight (full board) at Hotel Palmyre **** (or similar).
